The Brief

A workshop owner needed an extremely durable worktable that could handle heavy fabrication work, with a flat surface suitable for plasma cutting templates.

Constraints & Requirements

3m × 1.2m surface, minimum 500kg load capacity, leveling capability on uneven workshop floor, provisions for a vice mount.

Our Solution

Heavy-duty frame fabricated from 75mm × 75mm × 3mm square tubing with cross-bracing. 6mm mild steel top plate, ground flat. Eight adjustable leveling feet and a reinforced vice mounting plate. Finished with rust-resistant primer and industrial grey topcoat.

Outcome

The table handles the workshop's daily demands without flexing. The flat top serves as a reliable template surface. The client later commissioned matching storage shelving in the same industrial style.
